About the client
Virtuosos is a Hungarian classical music based competition for children and young adults, contested by players of classical instruments and classical singers drawn from nationwide auditions. It is broadcasted on MTVA network.
Throughout the competition, the contestants perform not only classical pieces, but movie theme songs and crossover music as well. Their performances are judged by a 5-member jury of professionals.
About the project
Our team have developed a true real-time second screen experience platform with its underlying CMS backend system for a show called Virtuózok, which aired on National 1 television (M1) on Friday evenings for several weeks.
Tens of thousands of users downloaded the app, and a large percentage of them used it on the final evening, where they were able to vote on the contestants that they saw on the TV screen live.
The show's final winner was based on these votes. Virtuózok is returning for a third series this Spring and once again the fate of the final prize will be entrusted to our mobile application.
