In an effort to stay competitive and align with contemporary dining trends, Vapiano sought to reduce queuing times and provide a more seamless and enjoyable experience for its customers. The goal was to digitize the ordering process, ensuring a faster, more convenient experience without compromising the quality of service.
Solutions
We implemented two primary digital solutions across all Vapiano locations to enhance the ordering experience:
Self-Service Kiosks: We designed and installed user-friendly self-service kiosks at each Vapiano restaurant. These kiosks provide an intuitive interface with high-quality images of the menu, allowing customers to explore options and place their orders at their convenience. The system is optimized for speed, reducing the time spent in queues, and allows customers to easily customize their orders.
Web and Mobile Applications: To cater to tech-savvy customers who prefer ordering from the comfort of their table, we designed a seamless web and mobile application. Customers can simply scan a QR code at their table to access the menu, place their order, and pay—all without leaving their seat. The app integrates with popular payment systems such as credit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay, ensuring a quick and secure checkout process.
